WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?

Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic application of hypnosis to help individuals address various physical, mental or emotional issues. This scientifically grounded mind-body approach taps into the power of the subconscious mind to promote positive changes in behavior, thoughts and emotions. Using the power of your mind you can optimize your overall health and well-being and create the results you want to achieve in your life.

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

“Hypnosis works by gently steering the very networks that govern our
emotional responses, helping us to transform stress into calm, uncertainty into focus,
and challenges into opportunities.”

                                                 Dr. David Spiegel

Psychiatrist and Professor

Stanford University Medical School

Hypnosis is safe, effective and the results are rapid. In hypnosis you enter a deeply relaxed trance-like state where you are able to communicate with your subconscious mind, enabling you to rewire negative thought patterns and promote positive behavioural changes.

Hypnosis has a calming effect on the nervous system. When you enter into the hypnotic state you activate your parasympathetic system which is responsible for rest, relaxation and recovery. Hypnosis also takes advantage of the brain’s neuroplasticity to reinforce positive habits, build your confidence and increase your motivation.
